Soaking in water swells the nail plate. Colour goes on over a nail that is temporarily the wrong shape.
We never soak. The nail is at its true shape when we build on it, so the finish bonds flush instead of lifting as the nail dries back down.
Nippers cut into living skin, which grows back thicker and leaves a visible gap at the base within days.
A precision e-file lifts away only the dead tissue sitting on the nail plate. Colour reaches right to the edge with no gap.
