Sky Spa opened on Walpole Street in 2012 and has stayed there ever since, long enough that most of the chairs are filled by people we know by name.
The studio was built around one idea: a manicure should leave your nails in better shape than it found them. That means minimal drilling, gentle removals, proper cuticle care, and being honest when a service is not right for your nails that week.
Alongside nails we run a full lash, brow, waxing and skin menu, so a single visit can cover everything rather than three appointments across town.
Implements are autoclaved between every guest and anything porous (files, buffers, orange sticks) is single-use and yours to keep.
Dazzle Dry, builder and hard gel systems, Gel-X soft extensions, and lash and brow lines that strengthen the hair rather than just tint it.
Services are booked with realistic durations so nobody is rushed off the chair to fit the next appointment.

Swan built Sky Spa around a technique most salons in the area do not offer, and then went and taught it. She is a Russian Manicure instructor and a certified InLei® Master Trainer, which means other professionals come to her to learn the lash and brow systems we use here.
In 2025 she was named a Business Leader at the NYC Lash Elite Lash & Brow Championship & Showcase, and recognised at the MG Beauty Awards.
None of that changes what happens at the desk. It just means the standard the team is trained to is set by someone who trains for a living.
The dry technique is taught in-house, so whoever you sit with is working the same way.
