Titanium Wire Correction
A titanium brace bonded to the nail acts like a spring, easing the curled edges up out of the skin as the nail grows. Nothing is cut and no anaesthetic is used.
How the correction works
- It corrects, it does not cut
- The brace anchors at the nail edges and is cured in place. Nothing is removed, so there is no wound and no risk of an ingrown infection from the procedure.

- The fitting is painless and you walk out normally. Most people feel the pressure ease during the appointment.

- The wire wants to straighten. Held against the nail, it lifts the curled edges up out of the skin a little more each week.

- Correction is gradual and the brace is re-fitted as the nail grows out. Severity decides how long yours takes.

- Cutting an ingrown nail back relieves it for a few weeks. Changing how it grows is what stops it returning.
